Hans, here, didn’t stop for coffee but for a printout of his return railway ticket which he only had on his phone. He had a lovely story. On his last Camino, a couple of years ago, he met a lady; they got on so well that they’re now married. Unfortunately on this occasion she had to work so couldn’t walk with him.
And these two ladies, Eve and Elisabeth, were campers. Unlike most pilgrims, they preferred to walk in the cool of the evening rather than in the morning. So they stopped with us for a couple of hours on a very hot afternoon. Eve is the one playing the Ukelele.
